Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has assured full support for the development of cricket in the province, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent. During a meeting with a delegation of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at Governor House, he reiterated the government's commitment to promoting sports, particularly cricket, at the grassroots level.

Governor's Commitment to Cricket

The governor stated that cricket is not just a sport but a passion for millions of Pakistanis. He highlighted that the Punjab government would provide all necessary resources to improve cricket infrastructure, including the renovation of stadiums and the establishment of training academies. "We want to produce world-class cricketers from Punjab who can bring glory to the nation," he said.

Meeting with PCB Delegation

The PCB delegation, led by Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, briefed the governor on the board's plans for cricket development in the province. They discussed the establishment of high-performance centers, talent hunt programs, and the organization of domestic tournaments. The governor assured the PCB of full cooperation and support from the provincial government.
