The Asir Development Authority has introduced an interactive digital map designed to help visitors explore tourist destinations, events, and experiences throughout the region's governorates. The map offers updated information on tourism routes and activities, enabling users to plan their trips and discover available options efficiently.

Launch Coincides with Asir Summer Season

The launch of the map aligns with the start of the Asir Summer Season, which was inaugurated by Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the governor of the Asir region. The season is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and the Saudi Tourism Authority, in collaboration with the National Events Center. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the season aims to attract more than 3 million visitors through over 100 events and experiences across the region's governorates and destinations.

Diverse Events and Activities

The program features a wide range of cultural, artistic, entertainment, sports, and family-oriented activities. The interactive map is part of the authority's broader efforts to enhance the visitor experience by providing easy access to comprehensive information on tourist destinations, activities, and events across the region. The map can be accessed through the Discover Asir platform.
