The project has enhanced Gwadar's nighttime appearance, making the city brighter and more attractive while also improving convenience and safety for residents. Solar streetlights have been installed at various locations, including Mullah Fazil Chowk, Ghalla Mandi, Gazrawan, Baloch Ward, Fish Harbor Road from Mullah Musa Turn to Umar bin Khattab Mosque, Padi Zar Beach, District Headquarters Hospital, GDA Indus Hospital, and from B&R Road to Shaheen Chowk.

Local residents have welcomed the project, describing it as a valuable collective gift from China to the people of Gwadar. Mayor of Gwadar, Majid Johar, praised the initiative and expressed gratitude to the Chinese Consul General in Karachi. He stated that China's contribution to Gwadar's development and public welfare projects is highly commendable and expressed hope that the scope of the project would be expanded in the future to illuminate more areas of the city.
