Fatal Collision in Nowshera Virkan
At least four people lost their lives, and nine others sustained injuries in a tragic road accident in Nowshera Virkan, Punjab, on Friday night. The incident occurred when five motorcycles crashed into a mini-truck that had been parked on the roadside, according to initial reports.
Casualties and Rescue Operations
As a result of the collision, four individuals died at the scene, while nine others suffered injuries ranging from minor to critical. Police and rescue teams promptly arrived at the site after receiving information about the accident. The victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Rescue officials identified the deceased as Ali Haider, Hamza, Faisal, and Sabnam Bibi. After completing the required medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the victims' families for burial.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. Authorities are examining factors such as visibility, road conditions, and driver negligence. The mini-truck driver is being sought for questioning to ascertain why the vehicle was parked on the roadside without proper warning signals.
