Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Agriculture Mian Muhammad Umar has stated that the province's agricultural sector is being further strengthened on the basis of merit, honesty, and a spirit of public service. He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony held for the distribution of appointment letters among newly-recruited officers of the Agriculture Department's On-Farm Water Management Wing and Crop Reporting Wing.

During the event, Mian Umar distributed appointment letters to the newly-recruited officers through the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission. The ceremony was attended by Secretary Agriculture Dr. Bakhtiar, Additional Secretary Agriculture Dil Nawaz Khan, Director General On-Farm Water Management Hayat Khan, Director General Crop Reporting Altaf Shah, and other senior officials of the department.
