The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has recently expanded its humanitarian operations across five countries, providing food, personal care items, and medical services to vulnerable populations. In Syria, the agency distributed 2,750 cartons of dates, benefiting thousands of families. Additionally, 24,500 hot meals were distributed in the central and southern Gaza Strip, reaching 24,500 individuals in need.
Food Assistance in Nigeria and Sudan
In Nigeria, KSrelief distributed 500 food baskets to displaced people, benefiting 3,000 individuals. In Sudan, the agency provided 1,681 food baskets to displaced families and returnees in Khartoum state, aiding 11,327 people. These efforts aim to alleviate hunger and support communities affected by conflict and displacement.
Medical Services in Yemen
A KSrelief-backed prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Yemen’s Aden governorate provided 1,399 medical services in one month to 447 people who had lost limbs. Services included manufacturing and fitting prosthetic limbs, consultations, and physical therapy, helping amputees regain mobility and independence.
Personal Care Kits in Chad
In Chad, KSrelief distributed 500 personal care kits to vulnerable groups, benefiting 3,000 people. The kits contain essential hygiene items to improve living conditions and prevent disease among displaced populations.
