Labourer Dies After Falling from Hill in Sargodha

A labourer lost his life on Sunday after falling from a hill while performing extraction work in the Shaheenabad area of tehsil Sillanwali, Sargodha district. According to rescue sources, the victim, identified as Ansar Abbas, son of Nazar Abbas, was engaged in stone-crushing related work at Shaheenabad hill 123/4 when he accidentally slipped and plunged from the height. The labourer sustained fatal injuries and died on the spot before he could be provided with medical assistance.

Following the incident, rescue teams and local residents shifted the body to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. Sillanwali police handed over the body to the heirs after completing legal-medico formalities.
