Lahore Officials Visit Kahna Accident Families, Promise Justice

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana and Commissioner Maryam Khan visited the homes of children who lost their lives in a tragic accident in Kahna, Lahore, to offer condolences to the bereaved families. They recited Fateha for the departed souls and prayed for the speedy recovery of injured children.

Officials Express Grief and Assure Support

Expressing profound grief, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana described the loss of innocent lives as an irreparable tragedy. He assured the families that the Lahore Police stood firmly by them during this difficult time. Kamyana stated that all injured children were receiving the best medical treatment on an emergency basis and that every effort was being made to ensure their complete care and recovery.

Talking to media, the CCPO said a merit-based investigation into the incident was already underway. He emphasized that legal action will be taken against those responsible based on evidence.

Commissioner Pledges Full Administrative Support

Commissioner Maryam Khan also expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured the families of the district administration’s full support. She said the government was examining every aspect of the case with utmost seriousness. She added that the district administration and police were working in close coordination to ensure effective relief measures, facilitate affected families, and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Meanwhile, workers of the Suthra Punjab organization staged a protest, demanding payment of their salaries.
