Lahore Police Arrest Sabzazar Firing Suspect via Safe City Cameras

LAHORE - Police in the Sabzazar area of Lahore have arrested a suspect involved in a firing incident, following timely action and the use of modern surveillance technology. According to a police spokesperson, the accused, identified as Shiraz, allegedly opened fire on a citizen, Hussain Amjad, during a minor altercation late last night. However, the bullets struck the wall of the victim's house, causing panic in the locality. The suspect fled the scene after the incident but was later traced and arrested with the help of Safe City cameras, police said.

Heritage Building Restoration

In a separate development, authorities have announced plans to restore Ewing Hall as a heritage building, preserving its historical significance.

Legal Proceedings

A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim, while the arrested accused has been handed over to the Investigation Wing for further legal proceedings. The spokesperson further said that the handgun and ammunition used in the incident were also recovered from the possession of the accused during the operation.
