Lumpy Skin Disease Outbreak in Sargodha Sparks Concern
SARGODHA: Livestock farmers and dairy farm owners in District Sargodha are increasingly alarmed by the reported rise in Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) cases among cattle and buffaloes. The disease has been detected in several areas, including 92 NB, Behak Mekan, 87 NB, 91 NB, 107 NB, 104 NB, Dera Jada, Kundan Shahpur, 66 NB, 40 NB, and Mathalak. Farmers fear further spread if timely preventive measures are not implemented.
Steady Increase in Affected Animals
Livestock owners report that the number of affected animals is rising steadily. They warn that without immediate intervention, the disease could spread to more areas, causing significant economic losses. The affected communities are urging authorities to take swift action to control the outbreak.
