Punjab Gov Links Dastak App with DLIMS for DL Services

The Punjab government has integrated its Dastak mobile application with the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) to provide driving license services directly to citizens' doorsteps, officials announced on Sunday.

Services Now Available via Dastak App

According to the Punjab Traffic Police, citizens can now access multiple driving license-related services through the Dastak app, eliminating the need to visit licensing offices and significantly improving public convenience.

  • Learner Driving License: Applicants can apply for a learner driving license from home.
  • Renewal Services: License renewal is now available upon expiry.
  • Duplicate Licenses: Applications for duplicate licenses in case of loss or damage can be submitted online.
  • International Driving Licenses: Those traveling abroad can apply for international driving permits through the app.

Fee Structure

The Punjab Traffic Police confirmed that the fee for a learner driving license has been set at Rs500 per category. Renewal and duplicate license fees will be charged according to the relevant vehicle category under existing rules.

How to Access the Service

Users can download the Dastak app from the Play Store to access information and services related to motorcycles, cars, jeeps, LTVs, and HTVs. Citizens are advised to visit the official website of the Punjab Traffic Police for further details and guidance.
