NAWABSHAH - Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Shaheed Benazirabad organized a series of events to commemorate the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, on the special directives of Vice Chancellor Engr Prof Dr Madad Ali Shah.
AI Competitions Highlight Innovation
As part of these activities, the Department of Information Technology conducted competitions amongst students featuring creative content developed through Artificial Intelligence. According to Dr Rehan Shah and Dr Meraj Nabi Bhatti, the competition, based on innovation and digital empowerment, aimed to encourage students to utilize modern Artificial Intelligence tools to demonstrate creativity, patriotism, and national spirit through technological projects.
They emphasized that AI-based modern technological skills can be positively employed to strengthen the national narrative, promote digital development, and empower young people.
Cultural Performances and Literary Events
Meanwhile, students of the Sindhi Department also organized dramas, folk songs, Bait Bazi, and speech competitions on the themes of homeland, sacrifice, and martyrdom. Faculty members Dr Ameer Ali Shah, Dr Phullo Sundar Menghwar, Dr Sikandar Sagar, Dr Khalid Sahil Keerio, and others stated that academic and literary activities centered on patriotism play a significant role in shaping students’ personalities. They added that when students gain knowledge about their history, culture, and national sacrifices, it not only strengthens their patriotism but also enhances their sense of responsibility.

On this occasion, the focal person for the activities, Dr Altaf Khaskheli, said that for the progress of nations, it is essential for young people to be aware, ethical, and courageous, and that such events serve as important steps towards the goal. The university continues to foster a spirit of patriotism and innovation among its students through such initiatives.
