A tragic incident in Attock has shocked the local community as a teenage boy killed his mother and sister over a monetary dispute. The police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are conducting a search to arrest the culprit.
Details of the Incident
According to the FIR, Afzaal Ahmad, maternal uncle of the accused and a resident of village Dakhner, reported to Attock Khurd police that his nephew Kamran Khan is a habitual gambler. Kamran, whose father Liaqat Khan is abroad for work, frequently demanded money from his mother Samina Bibi for gambling.
On Saturday afternoon, Kamran Khan again demanded money from his mother and engaged in a heated quarrel with her and his sister Umra Noor. He threatened to kill them if the money was not provided.
Intervention and Fatal Shooting
Afzaal Ahmad told the police that upon hearing the noise, he and Basharat Khan entered the house to intervene. However, Kamran opened fire, shooting and injuring his mother Samina Bibi and sister Umra Noor before fleeing the scene.
Both victims later succumbed to their injuries. Attock Khurd police have registered an FIR, initiated an investigation, and are actively searching for the accused.
