Triple Murder Over Land Dispute in Mardan
Mardan – Three people, including two women, were killed over a land dispute in Kandar village within the limits of Garhi Kapura police station on Tuesday. According to police officials, Ziyad Ali, a resident of Kandar village, reported that he was sleeping in his room while his father Ajmal Khan, mother Rawada, and wife Salma were in another room. He heard gunfire and came out to find his neighbors Bilal, Mubashar, Noor-ul-Basar (sons of Abdul Kalam), and Shah Faisal, Ali Zaman (sons of Muhammad Zaman), residents of Dobyan, present in his house with weapons. The accused shot and killed his father, mother, and wife. Ziyad Ali alleged that the accused also fired at him, but he remained unhurt. He informed that after committing the crime, the killers managed to escape from the spot.
Legal Action and Investigation
Local police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) for triple murder under sections 302, 324, 148, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code against the mentioned accused. Police have started an investigation into the triple murder case from various angles and formed a special team to apprehend the murderers.
