Beekeepers in Umluj governorate, Tabuk region, have commenced the harvest and extraction of samr honey, capitalizing on the extensive presence of samr trees across the area's plains and valleys. Umluj is renowned for its abundant samr trees, scientifically known as Vachellia tortilis, which produce one of the Kingdom's finest honey varieties.
Production Milestone Achieved
Samr honey production has so far exceeded five tonnes, with harvesting continuing throughout the season. This output underscores the region's growing capacity in apiculture.
