FAISALABAD - Director General of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, has directed that financial discipline, transparency, and accountability must be maintained at all levels of the authority. He emphasized that all financial matters should be handled strictly in accordance with approved policies, rules, regulations, and financial laws.
Comprehensive Financial Management System
The comprehensive and sustainable financial management system already in place must be followed rigorously to ensure the effective utilization of resources and long-term financial stability. He was chairing a meeting to review the Authority’s financial affairs and audit observations.

The meeting was attended by Additional Director General Qaisar Abbas Rindh, Chief Engineer Mehar Ayub, Directors Asma Mohsin, Junaid Hassan Munj, Afnan Saeed Sandhu, and Asim Mahmood, Deputy Director Finance Afzal Ansari, and other officers.
Pre-Audit and Revenue Verification
The DG FDA directed the Finance Wing to conduct regular pre-audits of all expenditures and ensure complete verification of dues, fees, and other revenues collected by the Authority. He stressed the need for the timely identification of under-collected dues and instructed the concerned officers to take prompt and effective measures to improve recovery.
Revenue Enhancement
He further stated that the accurate assessment of various fees and charges is essential for enhancing the Authority’s revenue and ensuring the efficient utilization of financial resources. The meeting concluded with a commitment to strengthen financial controls and boost revenue generation.
