The minister confirmed that work has already commenced on the new alignment of the M-9 Karachi-Hyderabad motorway. This development aims to improve connectivity between major cities in Sindh province.

University Grant for Hyderabad

Ahsan Iqbal also revealed that the federal government has provided a grant for the establishment of a university in Hyderabad. He noted that Hyderabad has historically lacked adequate higher education facilities, and despite 75 years of the country's existence, only recently have focused efforts been made to establish a university in the city. This initiative is expected to address the educational needs of the region.
