KDA Accelerates Dues Payment for Retired Employees

The Director General of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Asif Jan Siddiqui, along with KDA Member Finance Navid Anwar Siddiqui, has decided to further expedite the process of disbursing outstanding dues to retired employees of the authority. According to a spokesperson on Friday, the KDA administration has initiated the payment of dues to senior retired employees on a merit basis, aiming to provide relief to those who have been awaiting their entitlements for an extended period.

Recent Payments to Retirees

KDA Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui stated that last month, 18 employees who retired in December 2020 were paid dues amounting to approximately Rs 450 million. Continuing this initiative, the dues of approximately 37 employees who retired in January and February 2021, totaling around Rs 770 million, have now been settled. This demonstrates the authority's commitment to addressing the financial rights of its former staff.

Commitment to Retired Employees

Asif Jan Siddiqui reiterated that the KDA administration will continue to prioritize resolving the issues of retired employees and ensuring the provision of their financial entitlements. The move is part of broader efforts to improve employee welfare and maintain transparency in the payment process.
