China-Pakistan JV YTO-HRL Logistics Launched in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: YTO-HRL Logistics, a joint venture between China's YTO Express and Pakistan's HRL Group, has been officially launched in Islamabad following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing last year. The initiative aims to establish a modern, technology-driven logistics and supply chain platform that will connect Pakistan with China, Central Asia, and broader international markets.

Comprehensive Logistics Platform

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Zeeshan Qureshi, Director of YTO, emphasized that the venture is not merely a courier service but a comprehensive logistics platform designed to transform trade flows. He stated that it will offer ultra-fast cargo and freight services, bonded warehousing, AI-powered tracking systems, customs facilities, and end-to-end supply chain solutions for importers and exporters.

Strategic Benefits

Qureshi added that the platform will reduce trade costs, strengthen cross-border commerce with China and beyond, and position Pakistan as a regional gateway to Central Asian markets, as reported by Gwadar Pro. Khalid Taimur Akram, who is currently hosting Chinese B2B investments in Pakistan, noted that the venture combines YTO Express's global logistics expertise with HRL Group's local infrastructure and market presence.
