A World Bank Implementation Support Mission conducted a visit to the Sukkur Barrage Rehabilitation Project on Wednesday to evaluate on-ground advancements and deliberate on key implementation challenges. The delegation carried out inspections of various project activities during the site visit.
Site Inspection and Review Meeting
Following the field inspection, a comprehensive review meeting was convened at the PIC office in Sukkur and later at the Chinese contractor's Camp-A, situated on the left bank upstream of the barrage. The meeting aimed to assess the overall progress and tackle critical technical and administrative issues.

The Sukkur Barrage, a vital infrastructure asset in Sindh, is undergoing rehabilitation to enhance its operational efficiency and longevity. The World Bank's support mission plays a crucial role in ensuring the project meets its objectives and timelines.
