ISLAMABAD - The prices of gold experienced a significant drop in the local market on Friday, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24 karat gold per tola decreased by Rs14,900, settling at Rs438,036. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs13,410 to Rs374,205, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold declined by Rs12,190 to Rs343,325.
International Market Trends
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $149 to $4,156 per ounce. The association also noted a decline in silver prices. Silver per tola dropped by Rs413 to Rs6,946, and 10 grams of silver declined by Rs373 to Rs5,895. Internationally, silver fell by $4.13 to $64.67 per ounce.
