Pakistan Cuts Petrol by Rs 4, Diesel by Rs 2

The Federal Government has slashed petrol prices by Rs 4 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices by Rs 2 per litre, marking the fifth consecutive reduction in fuel costs. The new prices will take effect from Saturday, June 13, 2026, according to a press release from the Petroleum Division.

New Fuel Prices

Following the decrease, petrol will be priced at Rs 373.78 per litre, down from the existing Rs 377.78 per litre. High-speed diesel will now cost Rs 378.78 per litre, compared to the previous Rs 380.78 per litre. These rates will remain valid until further revision.

Impact on Transport

Petrol is predominantly used in private transport, small vehicles, three-wheelers, and two-wheelers, while high-speed diesel is primarily consumed by the heavy transport sector. The reduction is expected to provide some relief to consumers and the transportation industry.
