The Faculty of Management, Business Administration and Commerce, in collaboration with the Business Incubation Center of Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), organized the Start-Up Summit 6.0: From Concept to Success at the university's I.T. Tower on Friday.
Inauguration and Participation
The summit was inaugurated by SMIU Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, alongside Dean of the Faculty of Management, Business Administration and Commerce Dr. Jamshed Adil, Dean of the Faculty of I.T. Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan, Assistant Professor Shahid Obaid, and other faculty members. Dr. Sahrai visited the stalls and encouraged participating students, praising their innovative ideas and projects.
Student Innovations on Display
At the summit, more than 130 aspiring entrepreneurs showcased 34 innovative start-up ideas, reflecting the creativity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit of SMIU students. The event served as a platform for students to transform their concepts into viable business ventures and interact with mentors, industry experts, and fellow innovators.
Faculty members and industry experts commended the students for their innovative approaches. They highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in generating employment opportunities and contributing to economic growth. The summit provided valuable networking opportunities and practical insights for budding entrepreneurs.
