The Water Sanitation Services Company Mardan (WSSCM) has successfully concluded its special cleaning operation launched for Eid-ul-Azha. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) WSSCM Engineer Adil Nawaz informed media representatives that a total of 2,303 tons of waste was disposed of during the three-day Eid period.
Swift Complaint Resolution
Adil Nawaz stated that the control room received 85 complaints during the Eid days, all of which were resolved immediately. Following waste removal, the company completed the washing of various highways and roads to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for citizens.
Fragrance Initiative
To enhance the festive atmosphere, WSSCM initiated regular spraying of rose water and fragrance from College Chowk. Similar spraying activities are underway at various locations across the city to create a pleasant environment.
The CEO emphasized that providing a clean and better environment to citizens remains the company's primary responsibility. He revealed that 700 sanitary workers and 84 vehicles participated in the special cleaning operation, working day and night to ensure the process was completed efficiently.
Adil Nawaz commended the performance of all staff involved in the cleaning operation, particularly praising officials who sacrificed their Eid holidays to serve the public. He stressed that such dedication deserves recognition and appreciation.
