The Punjab Council of the Arts (PCA) Sargodha Division, in alignment with the Punjab government's vision, is set to organize a three-day event titled "Hum Maen, Hum Behnen, Hum Betiyan – Qaumon Ki Izzat Hum Se Hai." The event will feature live painting, tableau, and speech competitions, scheduled from May 14 to 16, 2026.
Competition Details and Prizes
According to a press release issued by the Sargodha Arts Council on Wednesday, the painting competition will take place on May 14 at 10:00 AM. Winners will receive cash prizes: first place Rs50,000, second place Rs30,000, and third place Rs20,000. The tableau competition is scheduled for May 15, followed by the speech contest on May 16, both starting at 10:00 AM. For these categories, the first prize is Rs30,000, second prize Rs25,000, and third prize Rs20,000.
Objective and Participation
The primary objective of these competitions is to provide a positive platform for students from schools, colleges, and universities to showcase their creative, cultural, and academic talents. Interested participants aged between 16 and 30 years can register via Google Form or by visiting the Punjab Council of the Arts office in Sargodha directly.
This initiative aims to promote cultural activities and encourage youth engagement in the arts, reflecting the Punjab government's commitment to fostering creativity and talent among the younger generation.
