Robin Quaison Praises Hajj Experience Under Saudi Program

Former Al-Ettifaq player and Swedish international Robin Quaison has shared his profound joy at performing the Hajj pilgrimage this year under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

Quaison's Spiritual Journey

Quaison, who announced his conversion to Islam in October last year, described the most profound moments of his pilgrimage as standing at Mount Arafat, spending the night in Muzdalifah, and proceeding to Mina. He noted that during his football career in Saudi Arabia, the country's social ethics and strong faith deeply influenced his journey toward embracing Islam.

Praise for Saudi Efforts

The Swedish midfielder also praised the Kingdom's development and leadership efforts in serving pilgrims and facilitating their rituals. He emphasized the smooth organization and the spiritual atmosphere that allowed him to focus on worship.

Program Details

A total of 2,500 pilgrims from 104 countries arrived under the program, including 1,300 Islamic scholars and global figures, 200 from Liberia, and 1,000 Sudanese family members of martyrs and wounded personnel. Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Alsheikh stated that Saudi Arabia spares no effort in serving pilgrims.

Comprehensive Operational Plan

The ministry implemented a comprehensive operational plan covering transport logistics, tailored accommodation, and guided cultural programs in Makkah and Madinah. These measures ensured that pilgrims could perform their rituals in comfort and tranquility.
