Commissioner and Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan Rana Aamir Kareem Khan has ordered the release of thousands of Intermediate certificates that had remained pending for several years. Under this initiative, 2,316 certificates have been dispatched to educational institutions through postal service, including 142 certificates belonging to students from Burewala.
Background of the Issue
According to official sources, thousands of students who had passed their Intermediate examinations during the past 10 to 12 years had not received their certificates. This delay caused serious difficulties for students in pursuing higher education and professional opportunities. Many students were unable to apply for universities or jobs due to the absence of their certificates.
Commissioner's Intervention
The matter came to the notice of the commissioner after a local citizen submitted an application seeking issuance of his son's Intermediate certificate. Taking immediate notice, Rana Aamir Kareem Khan directed the secretary of BISE Multan to ensure the prompt release of all pending certificates. Following the directive, the board initiated the first phase of the process and dispatched 2,316 certificates without delay.
Future Plans
Authorities said the remaining certificates would also be delivered in phases to ensure that all affected students receive their documents at the earliest. The board has assured that the process will be expedited to prevent any further delays.
