Scholarship Ceremony for Minority Students in Muzaffargarh

Muzaffargarh - In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to promote educational opportunities and welfare for minority communities, a ceremony for the distribution of educational scholarship cheques was held under the auspices of the Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department. The event was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh, Usman Tahir Jappa. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Yousaf Chhina and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance) and Deputy Director Development Anam Hafeez were also present on the occasion.

During the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa distributed scholarship cheques among deserving and talented students belonging to minority communities. Addressing the participants, he stated that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is undertaking special initiatives to ensure the welfare, equal rights, and educational advancement of minority communities across Punjab. He emphasized that the Punjab Government is committed to providing equal opportunities for progress to all segments of society, enabling young people to realize their full potential and contribute positively to national development.

The Deputy Commissioner described the scholarships as an encouraging step for deserving students, helping them continue their education and achieve their future aspirations. He urged students to pursue their studies with dedication, determination, and hard work in order to play a meaningful role in the service of the country and society.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Yousaf Chhina and Additional Deputy Commissioner Anam Hafeez also congratulated the scholarship recipients, noting that the Punjab Government continues to implement various welfare and educational initiatives aimed at empowering youth and promoting academic excellence.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the students expressed their gratitude to the Government of Punjab and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, describing the scholarship program as a positive and encouraging initiative for minority communities and an important step toward educational inclusion and empowerment.
