Hyderabad: The University of Sindh has announced the results of its Spring 2026 admissions entry examinations. Mahnoor Soomro, Nasir Hussain Wadho, and Jai Pal Malhi jointly secured first position in the MPhil pre-entry test, while Iman Haider and Abrar Ahmed Khan shared the top spot in the PhD test.
Results Announced by Testing Centre Director
The results were announced by Dr. Aftab Chandio, Director of the Sindh University Testing Centre. They have been uploaded to the university’s official website for candidates to access. According to the official notification, a total of 362 candidates appeared in the MPhil pre-entry test for admission to 38 academic departments. Of these, 192 candidates achieved the qualifying score of 50 marks or above.
Top Performers in MPhil Test
In the MPhil category, Mahnoor Soomro, Nasir Hussain Wadho, and Jai Pal Malhi—all from the Department of Zoology—jointly secured first position with 76 marks out of 100. Shahid Noor Tunio of the Department of Commerce stood second with 75 marks, while Shamil Baig of the Department of Development Studies claimed third position with 74 marks.
PhD Test Toppers
For the PhD test, Iman Haider and Abrar Ahmed Khan jointly secured the first position. The university did not disclose the number of PhD candidates or their scores in the initial announcement.
