Karachi Matric Board Announces 2026 Exam Schedule and Admit Card Availability
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially launched the process for the upcoming annual matriculation examinations. In a significant development, admit cards for the ninth and tenth grade exams have been uploaded to the board's official website, enabling students and educational institutions to download them conveniently.
Examination Details and Logistics
Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho has confirmed that the 2026 annual examinations will commence on April 7, with a total of 358,000 candidates expected to participate. The exams will be conducted in two shifts to accommodate the large number of students. The morning shift, scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, will primarily feature science group papers, while the afternoon shift will cover other subjects. To assist students, the BSEK office will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays for exam preparation and facilitation purposes.
Security and Anti-Cheating Measures
In a bid to ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the board administration has implemented stringent security protocols. Section 144 will be enforced at all examination centers, prohibiting unauthorized entry and gatherings within 200 yards of the premises. Additionally, the use of mobile phones both inside and outside the centers will be strictly banned. Authorities have deployed 23,708 personnel to oversee the smooth conduct of the exams and prevent any instances of cheating.
Guidance for Students
Students who encounter issues downloading their admit cards are advised to contact the BSEK office immediately. Specifically, they should visit room no. 5 for assistance. Chairman Soho emphasized the importance of timely collection of admit cards to avoid any last-minute disruptions. The board's proactive measures aim to create a conducive environment for all candidates, ensuring that the examinations proceed without any hitches.
