International Climate Change Conference Successfully Concludes at GCU Faisalabad
A two-day International Conference on Climate Change has concluded with great success at Government College University Faisalabad, marking a significant milestone in global environmental discourse. The event united a diverse assembly of prominent scientists, researchers, and environmental experts from around the world, fostering a collaborative atmosphere aimed at tackling pressing climate issues.

The conference saw active involvement from international scholars hailing from France, Austria, Thailand, China, Taiwan, and the Philippines, alongside a substantial contingent of Pakistani researchers, academicians, and students. Presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, the gathering was strategically designed to address critical challenges posed by climate change, with a particular focus on its profound impacts on agriculture, industry, and healthcare sectors. Additionally, the event prioritized the promotion of innovative research and the development of a comprehensive roadmap for sustainable environmental solutions.

Over the course of the two-day event, attendees engaged in 18 technical sessions where nearly 150 researchers presented their cutting-edge findings. The conference was expertly organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sabir Hussain, Chairman of the Department of Environmental Sciences, who served as the Principal Organizer. Prof. Dr. Farhat Jabeen, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences, acted as the Patron, providing invaluable support throughout the event.
