Will Compton has admitted he was surprised not to receive an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's highly publicised wedding after seeing photos of the event's extensive guest list. Speaking on Wake Up Barstool, the former NFL linebacker and co-host of Bussin' With The Boys said he initially gave little thought to missing the July 3 ceremony because he was travelling in Italy. However, his reaction changed after learning more about the attendees.
Compton Questions Dean Blandino's Invitation
Compton specifically questioned how former NFL Vice President of Officiating and current Fox Sports rules analyst Dean Blandino had been invited. After Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy confirmed Blandino's attendance, Compton joked that he was "flabbergasted" not to have received an invitation despite knowing Kelce from their NFL careers.
"As I've been seeing the photos of everybody else at that wedding, I'm kind of flabbergasted I didn't get that invite," Compton said, while Portnoy described the omission as "stunning."
A Star-Studded Guest List of 1,000
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly hosted around 1,000 guests at their wedding celebration inside New York City's Madison Square Garden. The event featured a high-profile guest list that included celebrities, athletes and personalities from across the entertainment and sports worlds. Among those reportedly in attendance were former NFL coach Mike Vrabel and his wife Jen, actor Jason Sudeikis and musician Machine Gun Kelly.
Tight End University Connection
Portnoy also noted that several attendees had recently taken part in Tight End University, the annual offseason training summit co-founded by Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen. Compton also attended this year's Tight End University alongside his longtime podcast co-host Taylor Lewan, but acknowledged that his participation in the event ultimately did not earn him an invitation to one of the year's most talked-about celebrity weddings.
