Fitness influencer and YouTuber Connor Murphy was reportedly working on a documentary in Thailand before his alleged drowning death, according to TMZ. The documentary focused on the growing trends of "looksmaxxing" and "biohacking," with Murphy and a close friend in Thailand serving as its main subjects. Sources claimed that one filming trip had already been completed, while another was scheduled before his untimely death. The project was also reportedly being developed for Hulu, although this has not been officially confirmed.
Murphy's State of Mind Before the Incident
People close to Murphy said he appeared to be in good spirits in the months leading up to the incident. His girlfriend reportedly echoed those claims, saying she had not noticed any unusual behavior and had never seen him use drugs. However, Thai authorities have presented a different account, alleging that Murphy behaved erratically before fleeing from officers and jumping into a nearby lake, where he later drowned.
Investigation Findings
Investigators reportedly found two unused syringes and unidentified white pills inside his vehicle. Authorities have yet to determine an official cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing. A video that went viral on social media as Murphy's alleged "last video" was later confirmed to be an older recording, dispelling speculation that it had been filmed shortly before his death.
