Diddy Sued for Alleged Assault of Minor in 2007

Sean 'Diddy' Combs is facing a fresh civil lawsuit alleging the sexual assault of a minor nearly two decades ago. According to court documents filed in Los Angeles on June 8, an anonymous plaintiff identified as John Doe claims that the music executive and rapper sexually assaulted him in 2007 while he was working as a child actor.

Alleged Incident Details

The lawsuit asserts that the alleged incident occurred at a networking event in the Hollywood Hills. The plaintiff states he met Combs at the event and was invited to a private area to discuss potential career opportunities. According to the filing, Combs allegedly led the minor to a secluded part of the venue and provided him with alcohol. The plaintiff further alleges that Combs engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct despite the minor expressing discomfort. The lawsuit claims Combs later told the accuser he would 'see where they would go from there for the role he had in mind' before leaving the room.

Combs' Denial

Combs has denied the allegations through his representative, Juda Engelmayer, who said in a statement: 'The allegations from this so-called nameless child actor are false and ridiculous. He's just another hater in a long list of people trying to get in on the money gravy train encouraged by personal injury lawyers. Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – and that includes any child! These allegations will be disproved like all the rest.'

Other Defendants

In addition to Combs, the lawsuit names talent agents who allegedly represented the plaintiff during his childhood acting career. The filing alleges they were negligent in placing him in situations where he could encounter powerful adults in the entertainment industry without adequate safeguards.

Legal Claims

The plaintiff is pursuing claims including childhood sexual assault, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent supervision of a minor, and false imprisonment. He is seeking unspecified damages, costs, and fees and has requested a jury trial.
