KARACHI: Dr Mahnoor, the female doctor targeted in an acid attack in Quetta on June 5, is currently receiving treatment at Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) in Karachi. She underwent a comprehensive medical examination on Sunday. Hospital sources confirmed that 13 percent of her body sustained acid burns, affecting her face, abdomen, thighs, and right hand. Both eyes were impacted, but her eyesight remains intact. Following examinations by plastic surgeons and ophthalmologists, Dr Mahnoor was shifted to the hospital's Special Care Unit. Another medical assessment is scheduled within the next 24 hours. Her condition remains stable and satisfactory.
