BAHAWALPUR: At least four people lost their lives after suffering electric shocks while repairing a turbine in Chak 88 Nawab Wali, near Yazman. According to Rescue 1122 officials, six individuals were affected by an electric shock while operating a motor inside a turbine room adjacent to a sewage disposal facility.

Rescue Operation

Upon receiving an emergency call, Rescue 1122 Bahawalpur teams immediately arrived at the scene and launched a rescue operation. Rescuers reported that three of the victims were transported by local residents, while another victim was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Yazman by a Rescue ambulance. The remaining two victims were also given first aid and moved to the hospital.

Casualty Details

Of the six affected individuals, four succumbed to their injuries, while the other two are reported to be in critical condition. The deceased have been identified as residents of the area. The incident highlights the dangers associated with working on electrical equipment without proper safety measures.
