The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially released the schedule for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, which will be conducted for admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes across Pakistan.
Test Date and Time
According to the PMDC, the MDCAT 2026 will be held simultaneously nationwide on August 16, 2026, at 10:00 am. Provincial universities have been assigned the responsibility of conducting the examination in their respective regions.
Registration Details
Online registration for MDCAT 2026 will commence on June 22, 2026. Candidates can apply with the standard fee until July 8, 2026. Late registration will be open from July 9 to July 13, 2026.
Fee Structure
- Local Test Centers: Standard fee is Rs9,000; late registration fee is Rs13,000.
- International Test Centers: Standard fee is Rs45,000; late registration fee is Rs55,000.
The PMDC has clarified that all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the specified deadlines and regularly check relevant university websites for updates.
