ABBOTTABAD: Three passengers were safely rescued after a chairlift (Doli Lift) developed a sudden technical fault in the Thai Dhamtor area of Tehsil Havelian, according to the district administration. Officials said rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site upon receiving reports of the malfunction. With the assistance of local residents, a swift and coordinated operation was carried out, successfully evacuating all three passengers trapped in the chairlift. No injuries were reported.
The incident occurred when the chairlift experienced an unexpected mechanical issue, leaving the passengers stranded mid-air.
