The District Health Authority in Rawalpindi has achieved 87 percent coverage of the district's 6.1 million registered population under the Community Health Inspectors Programme, a doorstep healthcare initiative. The programme aims to provide medical services directly to residents' homes.

Recruitment Progress

Of the planned recruitment of 1,115 Lady Community Health Inspectors, 465 have been hired so far. The remaining 650 are expected to be recruited by the end of July, according to sources. The recruitment process is ongoing under the doorstep healthcare programme.

The 465 Lady Community Health Inspectors recruited have already assumed their duties and started visiting homes to ensure every household member has access to medical treatment and healthcare services.
