The GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital in Gwadar treated 27,784 outpatients and provided thousands of free diagnostic and inpatient services in June, according to monthly statistics from the hospital, which is managed by the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). The facility continues to expand access to healthcare for residents of Gwadar and surrounding areas.

Extensive Diagnostic and Specialized Services

In June, the hospital performed 328 specialized procedures, 28,435 laboratory tests, 2,523 X-ray examinations, 1,735 ultrasound scans, 101 CT scans, and 255 dialysis sessions. The hospital recorded 4,071 emergency cases and admitted 1,055 patients during the month.

Busiest Departments

Family Medicine/General OPD remained the busiest department with 13,727 patients, followed by Dental OPD with 1,958, Orthopedics with 1,673, Internal Medicine with 1,662, ENT with 1,581, General Surgery with 1,197, Pediatrics with 992, Gynecology with 657, and Gastroenterology with 509.

Specialized Procedures Breakdown

According to a Gwadar Pro report, among specialized procedures, Orthopaedics performed 121 operations, ENT conducted 124, General Surgery completed 76, and Gynecology carried out seven procedures.

Free Healthcare Commitment

The hospital stated it continues to provide modern healthcare facilities, specialist doctors, and quality treatment free of charge, including medicines, laboratory tests, radiology services, and meals for admitted patients. On average, the hospital serves 1,100 to 1,200 patients daily.
