Incident Overview

In Lodhran's Chitti Masjid area, seven members of a family were hospitalised due to food poisoning after consuming leftover food late at night. According to Rescue 1122 officials, the family ate the leftover meal and shortly afterward developed severe vomiting and fell ill.

Emergency Response

An emergency call prompted the dispatch of two rescue ambulances to the scene. Rescue teams rushed to the home, provided first aid, and shifted the seven patients to the Kahror Pakks THQ Hospital. The hospitalised individuals include Allah Bakhsh, 45; Ansar Bibi, 42; Shahzad, 40; Mumtaz Mai, 40; Sughran, 35; Akmal, 10; and Rubina Bibi, 15.

Official Advisory

District Emergency Officer Shabab Aslam advised the public to avoid consuming stale or improperly stored food. He emphasised the risks of foodborne illnesses and urged caution with leftover meals.
