ISLAMABAD - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations yesterday with the foreign ministers of Türkiye and Egypt to deliberate on the evolving regional situation and recent diplomatic developments.

Conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister

In his discussion with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the two leaders exchanged perspectives on regional developments and welcomed the encouraging progress toward an understanding between the United States and Iran. They expressed hope that the positive momentum would help pave the way for lasting peace and stability in the region, according to the Foreign Office.

Discussion with Egyptian Foreign Minister

Separately, Senator Dar spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. The two leaders reviewed the latest regional developments, including progress toward a US-Iran understanding, and voiced optimism that these developments would contribute to sustainable peace, security, and stability across the region.
