At least 11 people were killed and 44 others wounded in two Israeli airstrikes targeting the Tyre district in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
Details of the Attacks
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that an Israeli strike on the Al-Masaken neighborhood in Tyre killed eight individuals and injured 35 others. A separate strike in the surrounding Tyre district resulted in three fatalities and left nine people wounded.
Rising Casualty Toll
The Public Health Emergency Operations Centre reported that the cumulative toll from Israeli attacks across Lebanon, from March 2 until Tuesday, has risen to 3,666 dead and 11,321 wounded. The ongoing conflict continues to take a heavy toll on civilians and infrastructure.
The airstrikes are part of a broader escalation in the region, with international calls for restraint growing louder. Local authorities are struggling to provide medical care and shelter to the affected populations.
