A meeting was held in Islamabad between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Y. Kistafin, and the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Minister-in-Charge for Industry and Production, H.E. Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Pakistan in February 2026. These agreements are expected to enhance collaboration in various sectors.
In a related context, Pakistan highlighted its Gandhara Heritage and called for reviving the Silk Road Spirit at UNESCO, emphasizing the historical and cultural links that bind the region.
Support for Entrepreneurs
H.E. Mr. Haroon Akhtar Khan assured full support for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs interested in developing trade and economic cooperation with Pakistan. He also expressed readiness to facilitate joint investment projects of mutual interest, underscoring Pakistan's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for business.
