Pakistan Issues 737 Visas to Indian Pilgrims for Religious Event

The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued 737 visas to pilgrims from India for participation in the annual festival scheduled on the eve of Martyrdom Day of Guru Arjun Dev Ji. The event will take place from June 10 to June 19 in Pakistan.

Pilgrimage Itinerary

During their visit, the pilgrims will visit several important Sikh religious sites, including Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib. This was stated in a press release issued by the Pakistan High Commission on Monday.

Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan to India, Saad Ahmad Warraich, extended heartfelt felicitations to the pilgrims and wished them a fulfilling yatra. The press release further emphasized that the issuance of visas aligns with the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to fully implement the Bilateral Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974.
