Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud will pay an official visit to China from June 30 to July 1, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun announced on Monday.
Visit at Invitation of Chinese Counterpart
Addressing his regular press conference, Guo said that the Saudi Foreign Minister will undertake a two-day visit at the invitation of Wang Yi, a Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The visit underscores the continued high-level diplomatic engagement between Beijing and Riyadh.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
The upcoming talks are expected to cover a range of bilateral and regional issues, reflecting the deepening ties between the two countries. China and Saudi Arabia have strengthened cooperation in recent years, particularly in energy, trade, and investment.
