More than 232,000 intending pilgrims successfully completed their online Hajj registration within the first two weeks, marking a significant milestone in Pakistan's digital transformation efforts, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The online registration for Hajj from 2027 to 2030 remains open for applicants.
Registration Process Streamlined via Digital Tools
Using the Pak Hajj mobile application and the official online portal, developed by the National IT Board, applicants completed their registration from home within minutes. Officials stated that the digital platform has made the Hajj registration process much easier, faster, and more convenient for pilgrims.
According to official figures, more than 175,000 applicants registered under the government Hajj scheme, while over 58,000 opted for the private Hajj scheme. Provincial data reveals that Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations at over 108,000, followed by Sindh with 71,000, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 33,000.
Gender and Scheme Breakdown
Among the registered applicants, 136,000 are men and 96,000 are women. The Ministry of Religious Affairs advised intending pilgrims to complete their registration as early as possible to avoid any last-minute rush, as online registration for Hajj 2027–2030 will remain open until further instructions are issued.
