Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has commended the country's security forces for their ongoing operations against terrorism, praising their professionalism and resolve in safeguarding national security. In a statement, he highlighted the successful intelligence-based operation along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, in which 29 terrorists were killed, describing it as a reflection of the forces' exceptional capabilities.
Major Success in Counter-Terrorism
Bilawal termed the operation a major success in Pakistan's continuing fight against terrorism. He noted that the timely action dealt a severe blow to terrorists and their facilitators, reaffirming confidence in the state's ability to counter security threats effectively. The PPP chairman asserted that terrorists and their patrons would never be able to weaken Pakistan's determination, peace, and stability.
National Unity Against Terrorism
Bilawal stated that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and security agencies in the campaign to eliminate terrorism, emphasizing that the country's collective resolve remains unwavering. He reiterated that the PPP has always been steadfast in opposing all forms of terrorism and will continue to fully support efforts aimed at protecting Pakistan's sovereignty, democratic values, and the lives and property of its citizens.
Opposition Alliance's Concerns
Separately, the opposition alliance alleged that police stopped leaders from travelling to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The PPP chairman, however, focused his remarks on the security forces' achievements, underscoring the importance of national security and unity in the face of terrorist threats.
