Round-the-Clock Monitoring

Marwat stated that maintaining law and order during Muharram remained the provincial government’s foremost priority. Security measures are being monitored round the clock through a Central Control Room operating on a 24-hour basis, alongside fully functional District Command and Control Centres. Modern technology is also being utilised to reinforce security.

Comprehensive Plan for Processions

A comprehensive plan has been devised for processions and religious gatherings, particularly on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, with all available resources mobilised for its effective implementation. Tariq Saeed Marwat said the government is working in close coordination with all relevant departments and law enforcement agencies and has put in place an effective response mechanism to deal swiftly with any untoward incident.
