Vehari - Pakistan Peoples Party South Punjab General Secretary and MNA Natasha Daultana has stated that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have expressed their confidence in PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari by granting the party a clear majority in the recent elections.
Victory Reflects Public Trust
During a brief interview, Daultana remarked that the victory reflects the public's trust in PPP's democratic struggle, public service, and development-oriented vision. She emphasized that the election results proved that the people rejected politics of division and negativity, instead voting for stability and welfare.
Criticism of Personal Attacks
Natasha Daultana criticized the language used by PML-N leader Captain (R) Safdar during the campaign, asserting that while political differences are acceptable, personal attacks on political leaders are against democratic norms. She added that attempts by some parties to question the election results were aimed at hiding their own failures, while the public mandate had already delivered a clear verdict in favor of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
